Hello, I'm Matt Savarino, the founder of Mayura AI. I've been a full-stack product developer for over 25 years focused on emerging technologies.

Enterprise AI Engineering

I spent the last 6 years at Microsoft AI fortunate to be a part of a small team bridging sales and product engineering. We worked directly with customers to rapidly create enterprise MVPs in under 8 weeks with only 3 to 5 people. Every quarter, a new challenge in a new industry. Beyond working with AI every day, I gained a new level of understanding for scale and impact.

Customer Experience Design

Before that, I spent 13 years at Disney managing design and engineering for products that served millions of users and billions of views. I was the sole engineer for ESPN's community profiles, comments, and forums before they gave identity to Facebook due to cost of trolls. I also led a culture change at ABC through A/B testing. These experienes deepened my appreciation for behavioral psychology and conversion rates. Most people bounce and don't even scroll, so thank you for reading this!

Narrowing Paths

Over the years, I've seen countless reogs and reductions in force. My role has been eliminated three times, narrowly escaping two others by switching groups. I was only unprepared for the first, because everyone can feel the work culture draining long before and long after each round.

Many business leaders see AI as a cost-cutting opportunity, but replacing workers or hiring less is not a strategy I want to help anyone with. Mayura AI is focused on empowering others to create and grow their own businesses.

Ideas to Unicorns

I hope to inspire and support the next wave of single-founder unicorns. Equipped with AI, I'm proud to say Mayura AI was profitable in month 1 and secured 2026 seed funding in month 2.
